Boudoir and the Fuji X Pro1

My good friend Stephanie Van den Bergh came to visit the other day and as I had borrowed an Arrilite 800w 3 head light kit, I couldn’t resist but try out some Film Noir style boudoir photography with my Fuji X pro 1 ….

As my bedroom is pretty small I only needed two light heads but without a dimmer switch and at 800w each I had to rely on the walls to bounce the light as I wanted to shoot with a wide aperture I hardly ever directed the light directly at Stephanie. I also used my mirror and a crystal lamp shade to create an interesting lighting effect…
